Following a recent public workshop on non-compete clauses in employer-employee contracts, the 51±¾É« has extended the deadline for public comments from Feb. 10, 2020 to March 11, 2020.

The workshop considered whether there is a sufficient legal basis and empirical economic support to promulgate a Commission Rule that would restrict the use of non-compete clauses in employment contracts.

Interested parties may submit electronically or in paper form on these topics or other related topics through March 11, 2020.
